ABE PLAN is a ten week class for students who have a strong interest in exploring career/educational goals, and getting started on those goals while improving their reading, writing, and math abilities. Program benefits include:
- Math, reading, and writing focus
- Lecture and group activities
- Personalized instruction
- Career/education goal planning and support
- Priority consideration in the I-BEST and Opportunity Grant programs
- Low tuition
- Preparation for the GED Intensive Preparation program

Attending an ABE/GED Orientation is the first step in taking ABE or GED classes at Edmonds Community College.
To sign up for an orientation, you can do any of the following:
- Call the Developmental Education office at 425-640-1593
- Drop by the DevEd office in Mukilteo Hall, room 403
- Email: devediv@edcc.edu
For immigrants from non-English speaking countries, classes are offered in ABE/ESL in another program.
